my training didn't have a large number of attendees, but it went really well... word of mouth alone should result in some significant participation next year.

our setup was pristine and wonderful, as always. Dragos, the organizer of CanSecWest, was really impressed with TOOOL.

in addition to having the Lockpick Village, Gringo Warrior also made an appearance.

hehe... i added the best of modern security to an antique they had in one part of the hotel. makes for a nice, if funny, photo.

one of the best things about being out in Vancouver was the sushi. i've never seen such huge pieces of fish. between the three of us, i swear we had a whole salmon on the table.
we sure as shit finished it all, though.
heh... my one other unexpected pleasure out there... some cat wrangled up a pack of kreteks for me. you never know when you can find them in a specific place.

at the Brazilian steakhouse. the drinks menu was cool, but not as remarkable as the...
... main food menu, which is hillarious. if you've never had rodizio before, let me explain. you are essentially given a card with a red and green side...

... keeping the green side facing up on the table means "more food, please" and the red side indicates "i've had enough"
the gaucho waiters walk around the restaraunt constantly with many, many cuts of meat on fucking swords and they just lay it on you constantly. we ate like kings... damn hell ass kings!

in the end, we are ultimately vanquished... but that's after serious success in our campaign against all the meat they kept constantly sending our way.

after eating we hit the karaoke bar around the corner

after figuring out the super-sized mult-command remote control, it was time to give our vocal skills some room to roam...
while these photos are pretty great, they don't do the evening quite as much justice as the video clips below...
andrea treated us to his rendition of "With or Without You" by U2

the videos that accompanied all these songs were hilarious. here's one that i focused up on during Bon Jovi's "Livin on a Prayer"

what kind of a karaoke night would it be without Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"
andrea and i made a duet out of "Sweet Home Alabama"
